Spartan boasts of State-of–the-Art manufacturing facility at Atgaon on Mumbai-Nashik highway. It is fully equipped with world class equipments to manufacture an array of construction equipments & Fire Evacuation Lifts. It is spread across 5 acres with 1 lac Sq.ft. build-up Shed & Office. The production facility covers Fabrication, Production Assembly, Testing, R&D, Design & Development, Spares Management & Despatch.

Spartan aims at making a world class manufacturing plant. Spartan’s Managing Director Dr Vikram Mehta is committed to make this dream a reality. Whenever he visits various manufacturing plants across globe, he aims to implement the best practices at Spartan’s Atgaon facility. This has lead in forming “Operational Excellence Apex Committee”. This committee is lead by the CEO, followed by Department heads of Production, Design, Quality, Stores, Purchase and Administration. This committee takes various steps and initiatives to produce the best product in a productive and safe environment.

Spartan follows sequence of processes to come up with a final equipment. Following are the brief processes which we follow:

We hold NPD (New Product Development) meetings, where each of HOD from various departments like design, production, marketing, customer care, etc. come together to discuss on various successful machines across the globe. Our design team participates exhibitions across India & globe to study the industry and machineries. This helps us to narrow down on a particular machinery which is appropriate to Indian site conditions. These machines are discussed and finalized during NPD meetings and sent to design team for further development.

Once this design is ready it is shared with production team to prepare a proto type.Once this proto type is manufactured it is tested in house and also at site to ensure smooth operations at all possible and critical conditions. After certain modifications and successful running of the equipment it is sent to production for mass manufacturing.

Machine

We use AMADA CNC Punching machine for all hoist sheet metal components. It has High rate of accuracy and consistent repeatability. It is easy to operate and any complex machining operations is also made easy.

GI Sheet for Metal
Components

GI sheet GSM120 grade is used for all sheet metal components and in addition to that PP powder coating is done on it which gives superior finish and longer life along with corrosion protection.

Horizontal Machining
Centers (HMC)

Horizontal Machining Centers (HMC) perform better in speed, accuracy and reliability. It’s high-speed, high-performance spindles feature supports us in
achieving the speed and part quality that matter the most.

Fabrication

Structural Fabrication is done through fixtures to maintain uniformity and interchangeability. Fabrication is done through certified WPS (Welding Procedure Systems) welders.

All sheet metal and some structural parts go through 11 tank process and PP Powder Coating which gives superior finish and long life protection from corrosion.

Advantages of Powder Coating:
  • Powder coated surfaces are more resistant to chipping, scratching, fading, and wearing than other finishes.
  • Colors stay bright and vibrant longer.
  • Powder coating does not contain solvents which have pollutants known as volatile organic compounds (VOC’s). It protects the environment.
  • The result is a uniform, durable, high quality with attractive finishing.

Hot Dip Galvanization

Most of structural component of hoist like mast, wall tie base frame carriage and cage base etc are hot dip galvanized with 80 to 100 GSM.

  • Galvanization is the process of applying a protective zinc to steel or iron in order to prevent rusting.
  • Zinc is extremely durable in all whether conditions.
  • Galvanized surface is scratch resistance and high in aesthetics.


Hard Chrome Plating
Hard Chrome Plating:

Hard Chrome plating is done as a technique of electroplating a thin layer of chromium onto a metal object. The chromed layer can be decorative, provides corrosion resistance, eases cleaning procedures, and increases surface hardness.

  • All the components duly fitted as per assembly drawing is confirmed.
  • Visual inspection of all the components are done.
  • Proper assembly fitment & movement of components are carried out.
  • Feedback mechanism is followed directly fitters level.
  • If there is problem in assembly at immediate corrective action is taken..
  • 100% Machine Assembly, Performance, safety & Load Trail Inspection with calibrated load are carried out.
Electric Panel Testing
  • Proper tightening of all wires are confirmed.
  • All panel logics are checked properly
  • All hoist safety limit & sensor proper working is confirmed.
  • VFD parameter are entered properly as per motor make.
  • Drawing of electric wiring is placed in panel.
